The Castle

Clitheroe Castle is believed to become a smallest keep in the whole of England. It stands atop the 35-metre rock outcrop of limestone and is one of the oldest buildings around Lancashire. These are too the just leftover castle in the county which got a royalist garrison during a Civil War.
